Cosmochemical Analysis and Testing

Opening

As I am building my lab at MIT, I am actively looking for prospective graduate students and postdocs joining the lab. The funding situation may vary frequently but there are always options to explore. The research in the lab will be very diverse, ranging from low temperature to high temperature geochemistry, from early solar system processes to ongoing planetary surface weathering, from small scale isotopic variations among minerals to large scale planetary formation and evolution. The lab will house state-of-the-art ultra-clean environment, an MC-ICPMS, and a laser ablation system, allowing for both wet chemistry and in situ isotopic analyses. Please feel free to reach out at nxnie@mit.edu if you are interested in joining the lab!
